Hi everybody ,

i m testing AND  CLB  example , latest   CCS and latest  C2000ware  out of the box .

I tested on 2 kits  no way

now I can load it and compile it no issue , but when I try debug I get this error :

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -2131 @ 0x0)

Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

(Emulation package 8.3.0.00003)

I tried to slow down etc no success (  NOTE  consider that by deafult project target set is on XDS100 ,  I set it to 110 as needed )

coud you help me ?    ( NOTE exactly same  example but for 379D launchpad it wors fine )

Part Number: TPS62810-Q1

Hi

the datasheet suggest 22uF is good enough. However the TPS62810-Q1 EVM use 100uF + 22uF + 10uF + 2.2uF + 470pF for the input capacitor.

May i know why EVM use 5 pcs of capacitor for the input voltage, and how do i decide my input capacitor ?

CC3235MODSF: Stuck at sl_stop after upgrade to sdk 3_30_00_04

Part Number: CC3235MODSF

Hi,

With the lastest sdk, when my cc3235 project is build on linux, it hangs at the first sl_stop.

I have two projects, one with a cc3235modsf and one with a cc3220modasf.

Both can be compiled either on my windows computer or on a raspberrypi in an ubuntu docker container by our continuous integration server.

I have upgraded both products to the latest sdk 3_30_00_04 and service pack (sp_4.4.0.3_3.1.0.5_3.1.0.19 and sp_3.13.0.3_2.0.0.0_2.2.0.6).

Since then the project with the cc3235 gets stuck at the first sl_stop when built on linux. When built on windows it's ok. And the project with the cc3220 is ok on both.

The code is mostly identical between both project.

The issue is present with both ccs9.1/compiler 18.12.2 and ccs9.2/compiler 18.12.3.

With the previous sdk (3_20_01_01) but latest service pack it is ok.

Any idea on what could be the issue?

Do not hesitate to ask for any information!

Best regards,

Cédric

Dear,

I'm looking for a current controller that can handle a output voltage of 150Vdc and output currents of 300A, minimum of 6 phases such that each phase gets 50A.

The input is 230VAC, hopefully I can directly use this input (after rectification) to create the output.

Does TI has anything that fit my needs?

Thanks,

Allard

Part Number: LMR16030

Hi ,

Customer's product is using in truck the supply voltage is 24v from battery. At car production line when they assemble the board  it's high probability to damage the PMIC as below block diagram.

Customer can reproduce PMIC damage issue in their lab by discontinuous contact  24v input. Picture 2 and 3 were scope capture。 What can we do to reduce the lmr16030 output spike when hot swap?

Thanks

Hi team,

My customer would like to connect DS90UB953 and DS90UB954 with STP cable on RXPORT1.

Customer tried by modifying existing coax connected board, but no lock status monitored at 954 side.

Attached is the summary of 954 register configuration, and monitored 954 status register.

Could you check if there are lack of settings for 954 to receive at RXPORT1 with STP cable?

TIDA-01167: ISO16750-2 Testing Levels

Part Number: TIDA-01167

Hi,

My customer is looking into TIDA-01167 for a 24V battery truck application, but has the concerns below about the solution size and level of testing. Can you please comment and propose any changes or alternative solution if needed?:

I have read through the documentation for the reference design and it rises a few red flags to me. Why was it not tested up to the toughest spec (202V  and 1 ohm) of ISO16750-2? I guess I know the reason, but omitting some graphs or tests makes me think that there is something less favourable. The fact that the LM5060 relies on 3 large external TVS’ to handle the peak voltage also affects the total footprint and BOM cost. Today we have one 200V 1.5kW SMC, one DPAK MOSFET, some discretes and it handles 250V steady state for about 30 seconds and passes the 202V 1R pulse 5 with Class A.

Thanks,

Antonio

Hi,

I noticed that TI CrashMonitor was running while using Code Composer Studio.

Can you explain what this program does?

When a crash occurs, I wonder whether it's monitoring and collecting errors or preventing fuzzing testing.

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Hello,

Currently, Im trying to extract the output data shown in the graph by mmWave Studio Post Processing. I was able to extract the ADC raw data values but I do not understand how these values can be processed to produce the shown results of the Post Processing. Is there any other way to extract the post processing data rather than processing ADC raw data? If not, how do I process the ADC raw data based?

I know the code cannot be shared, however I would really appreciate if someone could help guide me in giving the method to process the ADC raw data. Thank you

TMS570LC4357: mibspiGetData returns 0x40 error flag

$

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hello TI Community,

I'm currently testing SPI communication on Hercules LaunchPad. I use mibspiPORT2 with digital loopback.

HAL function mibspiGetData has error flags as a return value (according to doxygen dacumentation). Although rx buffer is completely identical to tx buffer, I receive 0x40 as a return value, which means an error has occurred. This returned value (0x40) corresponds to bit RXEMPTY in RXRAM register (Figure 28-89 in Technical Reference Manual) which means "No data has been received since the last read of RXDATA".

"This flag gets set to 1 under the following conditions:
• Reading the RXDATA field of the RXRAM register.
• Writing a 1 to clear the RXINTFLG bit in the SPI Flag Register (SPIFLG)."

Is it actually an error or just an info message, that can be ignored? Because the description of this error sounds more like warning to me and with this returned value I still can get a correct SPI message.

Thanks in advance!

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello Team,

it looks like I get different results between data sheet and Webench when calculating the compensation with these requirements:

Vin=30...50V

Vout1=12V; Vout2=24V (either or)

Iout=3A

Fswitching = 920kHz (It is not possible to enter a switching freq. >710kHz in Webench)

Also poles and zeros at at complete different frequencies.

Let me know what I am doing wrong ;-)

Part Number: TDC7200EVM

Dear TI team

I want to write an application (LabVIEW or Python) for out test environment to start, stop and configure the TDC7200EVM measurement cycles.

Therefore I need to know how I can communicate with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP via USB.

Do I have to write the firmware for the MSP by myself or is it possible to get the source code for the MSP-EXP430F5529LP which is shipped with the TDC720xEVM GUI Installer v2.1.8.0 (Rev. E)?

Best regards

Hello,

My customer bought TDC7200 and MSP-EXP430F5529LP for an experimental setup, where they need to communicate with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP board via their own test application environment.

Therefore they would like to know if there is a way to get the source code of the TDC720xEVM GUI.

They also did not find any description how to communicate with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP to start, stop and configure the TDC7200 measurement  cycles with a self-built application (LabVIEW or Python).

Thanks in advance for your help.

ADS1298: Does the capacitor in series affect the Lead-off detection?

$

Part Number: ADS1298

Hello everyone,

I plan to use a single  supply (unipolar)to power the ADS1298, that is,AVDD=3.0V, AVSSV=0V. According to the reference design, I need two resistors to divide the voltage , the analog input signal can be raised to the common mode voltage ,that is AVDD/2=1.5V.In addition to the front,a capacitor is connected in series.

It is because of  this capacitor ,the excitation current  is blocked from the power supply to the human body, which may result in the failure of the LOFF detection. How can this problem be solved?

I am trying to connect to m3 cores of the DM814x device on EVM using XDS510 Plus emulator, but I am getting following error.

I tried with 2 of the XDS510 emulator on 2 DM814x, it gives same error. I tried changing the TCK frequency from 10 MHz to 2 MHz but same error.

With XDS560v2, i can connect to all the cores with no issue. XDS510 emulator is not able to connect to m3 cores. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
