Hi Team,

I'm preparing for the Bluetooth SIG Certification with our BT/BLE product.

I have tested some test cases with PTS tool, and found the "A2DP_SNK_AS_BV_01" case failed. I have attached logs got from PTS software logs window and attaching  HCI related logs.(Please visit the site to view this file)

Please refer those logs and let us know what is wrong?

Test case name:A2DP_SNK_AS_BV_01

Description: To verify that SNK can receive the audio data encoded in SBC.

Even some test cases got INCON (Inconclusive result)

MSP430F6779A: Fastest clock for high frequency PWM

Part Number: MSP430F6779A

I want a PWM frequency of 18Khz. I am able to generate a PWM signal but the maximum frequency I can reach is 2 Khz at TA0CCR0 value of 511. I am using SMCLK whose frequency I think is 1 MHz and time period of PWM as 511 microseconds (configured the TASSEL to 2( smclk). I want 180 PWM pulses in my positive half cycle and 180 PWM pulses in negative half which adds to 360. Now as my sine wave frequency is 50Hz, 50 x 360 = 18000. So, I want a PWM of 18KHz. My question is how can I increase my PWM frequency. I know the frequency depends on the PWM period( TA0CCR0 value) but i have to at least keep it around 200. Please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hi,

I am working on the Hercules TMS570LC4357 Development Kit.

But after loading some program i have observed that the controller is heating so much like burning the finger(but able to load the image).

I have checked but there is not shorting of the board. 4 blue led's beside the power button are glowing along with the usb light. but also one red error light is glowing.

It is not just while loading, but if just connect the power supply it is heating too much.

I have applied isopropyl alcohol solution to it but of no use.

It seems that the controller is going into reset continuously after loading.

Can anyone please help me in this?

Regards,

Shivam Kakad

UCD90160A: Controller's power failure

Part Number: UCD90160A

Hi,

I am using UCD90160 in a project. I am using it to monitor 14 voltage rails by using resistor dividers on its monitoring pins to scale the input of high voltages but the issue is that out of these 14 two voltages of 28V give a false reading of 10V on Fusion Digital Power Designer software after some time while the actual onboard voltage during this fault is still 28V. Initially the controller works absolutely fine the issue comes after the new controller runs for two days. I have also used a unity gain amplifier (to limit current draw) after resistor divider and also soldered the IC again but the fault persisted. I have linked the PDF of the schematic portion with this comment for review. I want to know whether the combination of resistor is not okay or is there any grounding error.

Any help regarding the issue will be appreciated.

Part Number: OPT3001EVM

Hello

Testing is underway using the OPT3001 EVM software.

Interim inspections show a slight drop in temperature performance compared to competitors' products (CG5162TC).

      CG5162TC DATASHEET : http://www.wpgholdings.com/uploads/bu/bu_5/2014/20140917_Security/CG5162TC.pdf

Is there any possibility to improve the temperature stability by changing the setting value instead of the default setting?

Thank you.

Part Number: DRV8703-Q1

Hi

I read the following in datasheet:

"Mode control pin. Pull this pin to logic low to use H-bridge operation. Pull this pin to logic high for independent half-bridge operation. This pin is connected to an internal resistor divider. Operation of this pin is latched on power up or when exiting sleep mode. This pin is connected to an internal pullup and pulldown resistors."

But I need to change the mode without turning off or entering sleep mode.. How do I operate it?

CC2564MODA: How to modify A2DP demo to connect with smartphone automatically

Part Number: CC2564MODA

Hi,

My customer is implementing A2DP with below HW+SW.
HW: DK-TM4C129X
SW: http://www.ti.com/tool/CC256XM4BTBLESW

CC2564 is sink, smartphone is source.
Customer wants to modify the A2DP demo so that smartphone and CC2564 are automatically connected as soon as both devices are on.
I knew below changes are needed from original E2E thread.
- Store BD_ADDR and Link key in the flash
- Reload stored information and connect to the smartphone

But it is not clear how to implement above in the A2DP demo.
Could you specify which commands need to be added in which part of the code?

Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro

MSP430F5524: Proper procedure to turn off and restart timer

$

Part Number: MSP430F5524

Hi

I am generating a PWM to turn on a fan. Here is the code

TA2CCR0 = 1000; // PWM Period
TA2CCTL1 = OUTMOD_7; // CCR1 reset/set
TA2CCR1 = 900; //384; // CCR1 PWM duty cycle
TA2CCTL2 = OUTMOD_7; // CCR2 reset/set
TA2CCR2 = 900; //128 // CCR2 PWM duty cycle
TA2CTL = TASSEL_2 + MC_1 + TACLR; // SMCLK, up mode, clear TAR

I want to be able to turn it on and off. It should restart generating the same PWM with the same duty cycle. Here is the code for turn-off.

//Are these lines needed?

//TA2CCR0 = 0;                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          //TA2CCTL1 = 0;

//TA2CCR1 = 0;
//TA2CCTL2 = 0;
//TA2CCR2 = 0;
//TA2CTL = TASSEL_2 + MC_1 + TACLR;

TA2CTL &= ~(MC_1);  //Is only this line sufficient?

Is it enough if I just toggle and set MC_1 or should I set the other registers(Capture compare registers, TACTL etc.) to 0 and re-initialise them?

Thanks

Abhishek
