Hello,

I would like to check whether my HALO device is communicating/ is able to control the DLP2000.

As I am unable to read back on HALO,I would like to change some settings on DLP2000 EVM and observe some visual impact.Please suggest some test cases like that.

I am finding some LED related setting mentioned in I2C reference manual. May I know where exactly i find the impact visually when i do the  following LED settings.

As suggested in manual,

STEP1: For asserting  LED_ENABLE pin being HIGH, I find in schematics that VINTF is the source for that pin, it is P2 -3 . P2-3 measures at 1.8V . I guess it is definitely HIGH for an LED to be ON.

STEP2: Selected RGB driver current s

STEP3: Regarding Turn on the DLP® display sequence, Can i get some clarity on display sequence?

STEP5: Regarding  Turn on WPC (as desired), May i know the impact of this setting and what to set?

Please help me , with highlighted queried and tell me by doing the above how visually i find the impact.(FYI: I am able to see DLP default picture already)

ADC12130: ADC12138CIWM/NOPB EOL - lead finish info, and recommended alternative ADC

Do we have any information on now EOL'ed ADC12138CIWM (non-NOPB), specifically - I believe it is not RoHS compliant. Do we have any information for a customer about the lead finish?  

Also, what device would you recommend for redesign, that would require minimal design change?

BQ40Z50-R1: Qa_max/Q_cell_n adjustment

Hello Everyone,

Our 4S4P LiFePO4 20Ah/256Wh SBS battery manufacturer from China has switched from bq3050 (NRFND) to bq40z50-R1 for the new lot we just received.
Those batteries were programmed as 128Wh batteries with a 0.5 current scaling factor. So that displayed % RSOC is OK, and the manufacturer can use the same firmware for their 512Wh batteries (40Ah > max 29Ah for bq40z50).

The problem is that we use smart chargers: reading the battery chemistry sets the charging voltage, and reading the design capacity sets the charging current.

Thus the manufacturer sent us a new .srec file along with the Unseal and Full access codes. We've been loading this new .srec file in all our new batteries, but some batteries won't display a Full Charge Capacity of 20Ah, although we discharged them to a few percent RSOC (Vbatt below 11V), let them at rest (Relax) a few hours, then recharged them to 14.6V. Of course we checked the current calibration, it's OK.

We put those under rating batteries on an electronic load after charging them to 14.6V, and indeed they displayed at least 270Wh capacity each.

What did we do wrong?

Can Qa_max be adjusted upwards by the bq40z50R1, or can it only be lowered ?

Will an export of the gg.csv from a "good Full Charge Capacity" battery, and then an upload to the under rating batteries solve the problem?

Our customer has 2 issues, could you give us some solutions?

1. SRIO speeds up.

They are currently testing SRIO rate only 1.6 Gbps, but they hope the lowest date rate is 2 Gbps, they check TCI6638 datasheet, it could support the rate, so how to improve SRIO data rae?

2. The ipc interruption between ARM and DSP , because they do DSP first, so they need to move ARM ipc interface backward to implement the communication between different nuclear, and eliminate the influence of the development of DSP. Do we have related code?

BQ35100: Query on measuring 30uA using accumulator mode

HI,

Please help to confirm if BQ35100 can be used for  Li-SOCl2 Primary battery 12000mAH that for its remaining capacity measurement during operation.

Continuous load on the battery is 30uA and hourly once load current goes to 600mA(average) for a duration of few seconds.

 I want to use BQ35100 to know the % of battery capacity remaining.

Is 30uA too small to measure for BQ35100 in Accumulator mode? What is the min current can BQ35100 measure in Accumulator mode?

Hi Team,

I am trying to determine the frequency of the back channel. In the 948 datasheet, there is register 0x23, bit 6, which is BC_FREQ_SELECT. This bit refers to dividing down the OSC CLOCK DIVIDER in register 0x32, but I can't find register 0x32 in the datasheet.

Ultimately, my question is, what is the frequency of the backchannel? It sounds like it can be set to a certain frequency within a range. Can you please let me know what that range is?

DLPC4422: How to repair the boot loader area.

Thank you for your reply.

I am afraid that I have deleted the bootloader portion in the memory because I did not chose to skip boot loader area. How can I remedy this?

My second question is about the flesh files.

I downloaded some software to convert the format from .png to .img.

1. save a file as .img format.

2. Resulting file

3. Open the file with a software

I downloaded this file to the DLPC4422 but it showed nothing.Maybe it's the problem of boot loader portion, but I am afraid that the file format is also wrong.

I am confused that what kind of files can be recognized by DLPC4422.Files in .jpg .png .iso or in any other fomat?

LT1054: increase LT1054 oscillator frequency

Page 10 of LT1054 datasheet said we could increase oscillator frequency by adding C2, may I know which frequency will correspond to the capacitor value ranging from 5pF to 20pF? And what is the maximum frequency that we can adjust? Besides, could I use adding C2 to control oscillator frequency which is always larger than 25kHz? Because we would like to avoid audible noise. Thank you.

I'm trying to develop a new application with my customer who would like to detect presence of people/workers in an area close to moving machinery. Now the question is which device do you suggest better?

Is there any difference between using the 60GHz or 77GHz band? Maybe any app notes that explains it?

Could you recommend an EVM to purchase and start evaluating?

I want to use BQ35100 for Li-SOCl2 Primary battery of 12Ah for its remaining capacity measurement during operation. Continuous load on the battery is 30uA and hourly or one day once load current goes to 600mA(average) for a few seconds. Do you recommend me to use BQ35100 to know the % of battery capacity remaining?

Is 30uA too small in accumulator mode? And what is the min current can be used in accumulator mode? What is the total error when use the accumulator mode to measure the % of battery capacity remaining?

TIDA-01471: Synchronize multiple IEPE Interfaces

Hello,

we want to use more than one TIDA-01471 to read multiple IEPE sensors simultaneously. At the moment we have six boards connected to the Controller board and the DRDY line of one of the TIDA-01471 is used to start reading data from all ADCs via SPI. The data transmission works fine, but after a few seconds the DRDY signals are asynchronous and we need to resync the ADCs to prevent data loss.

We tried to send a stop command followed by a start command, but this causes a delay time of about 2.7 ms before the next DRDY signal (with 32kSPS). According to the ADS127L01 datasheet, this delay is caused by the wideband filter used by default in this design.

Is it possible to switch to the low latency filter instead of the wideband filter without modifying the layout? The delay should be around 20 us using the low latency filter, which seems acceptable.

Or is there another way to synchronize the ADCs?

BQ24190: BQ24190 doesn't not detect AC plug

Hello

The BQ24190 should normally detect weather the charger is an AC plug (USB_D+ connected to USB_D- inside the charger) or a laptop.

Unfortunately this detection doesn't work. 

In our case, charger is seen as "unknown". Register 0x08 has value 0x24.

If I plug a laptop, detection is OK. Register 0x08 has value 0x6C.

USB communication works fine, because the same USB is used by our CPU.

Attached is our schematic. We have 2 battery chargers for the same battery (either from USB connector "rear" or USB connector "front")

Any idea, known issue  ?

In case of "unknown" charger, what be be the charging current ?

I wonder if it is possible to change the SVS high side voltage level threshold on the MSP430FR604x chips? In the data sheet I cannot find any information about it, but it clearly says on 6.13.3 Power-Management Module (PMM): "The SVS circuitry detects if the supply voltage drops below a safe level and below a user-selectable level".

Hi,

We are having a custom board made out of 66AK2G12, DA10x. SPI is being used as the alpha command transport path and DA10x is configured as SPI slave. SPI is configured at 168KHz at the master side.

Issue is when SPI clock speed at the master side is increased more than 300KHz, we are facing SPI data miss at the DA10x side. This missing of data is occurring when we feed the audio input(McASP) to the DA10x. It does not occur at other times. We tried increasing the SPI interrupt priorities and alpha command(SPI receiver code) task priority, but it did not help.

Please throw us some light on where the issue could and what else that we can try.

LM3481: Inductor peak current controller

Hi Team,

Here I have attached my circuit. In that when I connected to 5V supply, there is no current flow in the inductor through MOSFET and also pulse from DR pin is showing about minimum ton time (250ns) with frequency 25Khz. Even though I have connected 100k ohm at FA pin which is equivalent to 208Khz switching frequency why it is showing as 24khz? And what could be the reason for not getting a pulse? Please do help
