Dears,

We are using IC SN74HCT125D in our designs.

We are facing issue of IC getting short VCC to GND (VCC and GND pins are observed shorted together).

We are observing this problem repeatedly.

VCC and inputs of SN74HCT125D  is about 5VDC clean and not exceeding.

Please note that the we have cable length of about 30 meter long which carries 24VDC and from this 24VDC we have generated 5 VDC using DC to DC converter LM2672M_ADJ.

This power supply is also protected with transorb, ferrite bead in series with output and input and output capacitor filters.

Possible causes of IC damage?

What are the parameters which can damages the IC?

Preventive measure and circuit protection guidelines?

Types of Measurements in filed to find out the root causes?

Design support for robustness improvement to avoid failure?

Dears,

We are using  IC SN65HVD251D in our designs.

We are facing issue of IC getting short VCC to GND (VCC and GND pins are observed shorted together).

IC SN65HVD251D is operating on 5VDC.

Also IC output is protected from tvs diode.

Do TI have equivalent version of HD3SS3411 for single ended inputs.

I require 2:1 mux/Demux with operating frequency of 500MHz.

If you do not have, Can i pull other input to VCC with 50ohm resistor.

Hi experts,

       I am working on the j6p evm board with vision sdk 3.04.   Vision sdk runs OK. 

      And now I want to support IPUMM on IPU2.  after the build, firmware of ipumm loads success, but I can see the below error with logcat.  Digging deeper, I found dce use drm interface, and in kernel we use vdrm. 

so my question, how to make dce support vdrm?

We are trying to test  the WL1837MODCOM8I-SDMMC: WL1837MODCOM8 and SDMMC adapter bundle.

We have the WL1837MODCOM8 plugged into the SDMMC adapter and the SDMMC adapter being connected to a laptop via SD card slot. The RTT tool is being used for testing WiFi

But we are unable to get the board running. Below are the snapshot of the application window and  the observations. Requesting the support to get the kit up and running.

 

1. The application shows the status as Not Connected
2. If clicked on Connect, the error appears as  Connection Failed: Calling Connect Target Returned 4
3. There is a message at the bottom of the application showing Net status : Closed. What is it means?

 The LEDs on the board glows when the board is plugged into the SDIO slot and after few seconds all of them goes OFF. We are setting the jumpers for operation in host mode and power from SDIO slot. Please let us know if we are missing any other steps by any chance.

 Hello guys,

 One of my customers wants to drive some capacitances by INA332 output.

 Could you please tell me what the maximuim capacitance which can be connected to INA332 output is?

 According to the graph, PERCENT OVERSHOOT vs LOAD CAPACITANCE on page 7 in INA332 datasheet,

 http://www.ti.com/jp/lit/ds/symlink/ina332.pdf

  10000pF is plotted as the maximum. But the customer wanted to drive 0.5uF.

 Is there any problem (Ex. device broken, device damage, output oscillation) on INA332, if 0.5uF is connected to the output?

In "DLP® LightCrafter™ Display 3010 EVM Gen2 User's Guide" (page 5, 6), a 12-V DC power supply can be used as an external supply to the J9 connector.

But there is no description about max output current when operating the evm with an external 12-V DC power supply

(Otherwise, there is description about max output current when using 19-V DC, 4.74A). 

Please let me know about it.

Hello

Thank you for your support.

My customer have original design using TPS54335A as page 3~page4 on attached ppt.

They are investigating the root cause about several returns from market.  (all of those PH pin had shorted to GND).

They will have  new project  using TPS54335A ( bigger biz size) but condidering .

So, customer simulate actual environment for in-house test ( page2) now.

They found that  when electro-magnetic contactor trips , sometimes ( 1time/40times) violate ABS max rating of PH pin in the period of dead time. ( page 6).

Inquiry ( Would you please have your comment)

1  Do you think PH undershoot  on Fig 2( page 6 ) leads the failure for TPS54335A ? 

2   I had recommendedcustomeri to add shottky diode ( low Vf)  in order to keep PH undershoot < 1V.

     Do you agree? 

     If no, do you have any recommend ? ( I had already asked i to improve

     PCB layout as page 4.)  As per Webench sim, stability seems no problem ( page3)

what is the stability region for output capacitor with TLV70233DBVR?

Webench offers Cout in a range of 1-10uF. Is it a real acceptable range for output capacitors for this LDO?

We have application where we need to keep Vout ripple under 15mVp-p, and it’s achievable if we increase output capacitance to 10uF. Just want to make sure it is acceptable.
