Hey guys,
in the sensor/collector non beacon 15.4stack example. If the sensor is sending a beacon request, and there are two or more collectors, they will all answer with a beacon. Is the sensor now associating with the first beacon it receives or is it evaluating which of the beacons has the best RSSI value and based on this connects with this collector?

Hello, community! I try to build project people counting demo and have a problem. I have a AWR1642 ES1.0 and install mmWave SDK v1.02.00.05, but when i try to import the people counting demo to code composer studio, it generates an error that it needs mmWave SDK v2.0.0.04 But this version works for AWR1642 ES2.0. What i have to do for solve this problem?

BQ24190: Problems that can not be charged from the PC

My customer is facing the problem that can not be charged from the PC.
And my customer understood below 2 IC functions from the datasheet.
The conditions for entering the HIZ state are
・ USB Input source is USB Host (SDP 100mA)
・ Battery voltage VBAT> VBATGD (3.55V)
When IC enters HIZ, sleep mode close to shutdown.
Then the customer asked and requested below, Please advise,
1. When BQ24190 is in host mode, please explain the relationship between the timing when INT is set and the timing when entering HIZ.
2. Is the timing when bit is set in REG [00] 7 after HIZ state?
3. What are the timing constraints for detecting INT from Host and releasing HIZ?
4.Please send the entire state transition diagram and timing chart of BQ24190.
If the BQ24190 is in host mode, the HIZ state is kept even if the USB plug is removed. Is the following understanding correct?
1. Even if the USB plug is unplugged, the HIZ state keeps and INT level doesn't change (no interrupt)
2. Since the HIZ state is kept even if the AC adapter (that is, DCP) is inserted next time, INT level does not change.

I have create my coordinator program and set its ZDSECMGR_TC_DEVICE_MAX value into 200, coordinator could generate a network with nwk-key is {0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0}. And then reduce this value into 128, it can generate a network with correct nwk-key, but it can't restore Network from power up.
TPS65131-Q1: Output voltage unstability

I have a problem with TPS65131. It can not regulate under load.
Designed output voltage: +5V -5V
Symptoms:
1) Input voltage: 3.3V No load
-5v output: fluctuating between -2v and -12v
+5v output: 5v stable

2) Input voltage: 3.3V 270mA load on both outputs
-5v output: 0v
+5v output: 3.2v

CC1312R: Switching CC1312R (and, for that matter, CC1352R) from TX to RX really fast (HS MODE)

As mentioned in my thread about another product, we are in need of sub-1Ghz product that has high data rate (4MBPS mode that seems available in CC1312R is promising in this regard).
However, we also need very small RX-to-TX and TX-to-RX turnaround rates.
The datasheet for CC1312R doesn't seem to have this data and a thread on here seems to suggest that turnaround latencies for CC1312R can be as high as 200us
We need much lower ( lower than 100us and ideally "as low as we can get away with") switching speed, particularly in the TX to RX direction (so a battery-operated node can transmit a packet and switch to waiting for an reply as soon as possible).
Are there ways to get CC1312R switch from TX to RX faster? Same question for CC1352R which also seems to support a high data rate, at least as per TI's part selection thing

Decided to make a separate thread on my issue with "turnaround" speeds.
Long story short, we need a sub-1Ghz device with high data rate. CC1310 is attractive in this regard as mature platform with 4MBPS support and a lot of very good cheap board that fit our space requirements already present "off the shelf".
Problem: according to available info, the switching time (both TX -> RX and RX->TX) is very slow for CC1310, 270 us and higher.
We need something that can switch from TX to RX in less than 100us, ideally as little time as possible (20us would be great, but... :( ...)
Is there perhaps a chance to somehow make CC1310 switch faster?

Hi,
I have a custom board with a TMS320C6713B processor. According to the datasheet, the processor will start to boot 1Kbyte of the program from an external flash which is connected to the EMIF bus on CE1.
I set the boot options HD[4:3] to boot from 8bit Async memory which is the default option.
I wrote a very simple and short assembly program to toggle a LED on my board. The program is very short and so it will fit into the boot-size of the processor and there is no need for the second bootloader.
The program works fine with the emulator, but after burning it on the flash and setting the appropriate boot option, it seems that the program does not load into the DSP processor internal RAM.
By monitoring the CE1 of the processor, I have noticed that there is no activity on this PIN. (I expect that during boot time when the DSP wants to read 1KByte of data out of the flash the CE1 must be LOW to select the Flash device.)
Applying reset will not resolve the issue.
Powering the device also does not help.
There is absolutely no activity on the CE1 of the DSP processor and it is always HIGH.
I will be highly appreciated if anyone can help me in this regard.

We are using the Zstack 302 Znp coordinator for our application.
In our current code the flash and ram usage is as follows:
258 961 bytes of CODE memory 32 bytes of DATA memory (+ 70 absolute ) 7 817 bytes of XDATA memory 192 bytes of IDATA memory 8 bits of BIT memory 495 bytes of CONST memory
As you can see both Flash and Ram are full. Will this cause any type of issue in the operation?
How can we optimize it?
I have refereed the "OptimizingCC2530Z-Stack3.0.2Flashand RAM" document but was not helpful for the znp coordinator.
UC1843B-SP: Ramp compensation design

In the datasheet of UC1843B-SP, in page 18/27, Section "Sense Resistor and Slope compensation" it says that when calculating the falling slope of the inductor current (Forward topolofy or buck topology) we have to multiply Vout/L by a gain Gcs=3, here i did not understand from where does this gain come ?? (Equation 46 in the datasheet).
I have gessed that this gain comes from the fact that the output of the Error Amplifier goes through a divider by 3 (Vc is divided by 3 than connected the PWM Comparator).
After a while, i have read the datasheet of UCC38C44 which has the same functional block diagram as UC1843B-SP. In page 13/55 it says "the gain of the current sense amplifier is 3V/V", but when it comes to "slope compensation" section in page 30/55, we do not see the effect of this gain as in UC1843B-SP
Please, can someone clarify this point to me??

FDC2214: Only LSB changes and MSB does not change.

I am using a custom made a board with FDC2214 for proximity sensing.
However, when I see the data from FDC2214, only LSB changes and MSB does not change.
MSB is fixed to 0x0FF.
Since LSB changes, I don't think this is due to the over-range or under-range of frequency or current.
What could be the cause of this and is there any recommended solution?
TPS568215: soft start calculation with pre-biased load.

We are generating 5V@ 6A from 12V input.
The same 5V is diode OR ed with another battery source to power load when TP568215 is OFF.
Currently we used 47nF as the soft-start capacitor, as per equation 3 from datasheet, soft-start time is 4.7mS.
As we have diode OR with another low voltage source , when the TPS568215 enabled to generate 5V it will see pre-biased load, How the soft-start calculations will work with pre-biased load.
2nd question is, After enable reaches its turn ON threshold(1.225V), VREG5 starts and reaches its VREG5 UVLO - there is no data time taken in datasheet(figure 21) - Any data on approximate time to reach VREG5 UVLO after Enable crossed Turn ON threshold.
What is the behavior of Power Good pin in LDO!??
