Part Number: DRV8301-69M-KIT
Dear TI Experts:
From the DRV8301-69M-KIT, I thought I understand the meanings of variables IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V and ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V.
The ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE values are defined by the specific hardware sensing circuit.
The IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE values are used to normalize all of the voltage/current terms to a per unit value (pu). So we can set the IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE smaller than ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE.
But I am confused when I read the following table, shown in GUI Quick Start Guide: InstaSPIN_FOC_F2806xM (qsg_gui_instaspin_foc.pdf).
Q1. For HVMTR kit, the maximum voltage input is 409.9V for Vbus, U, V, and W. So the ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V equals 409.9. But the IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V is NOTsmallerthan ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V. Why?

Q2. For HVMTR kit, if we set IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V= 297, obtained by 409.0*0.724, which is smaller than ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V.
Then we can apply lab2 project of InstaSPIN to get the offset values. Is it OK?
Q3. If the answer is 'NO' in Q2, could you explain the reason for us? Is there a rule for determining the IQ_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V based on ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V?
Look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advance~
