TPS63001: TPS63001 switching frequency

Part Number:TPS63001

Dear Sir or Madame,

I'm designing a PS using TPS63001 and currently calculating the Ipeak of the inductor according to the datasheet (DS) - TPS63001 rev. C (slvs4520c), section 8.2.2.2 Inductor selection.

On page 12 you provide the necessary formulas as well as 'f = Converter switching frequency (typical 2.5 MHz)'. However the oscillator range for this part is 1250 - 1500 kHz (6.5 Electrical Characteristics, page5), which I would consider being the switching frequency (during fixed frequency operation). [Note that if you take a look at TPS63031, the same 'typical  2.5 MHz' is stated in section 9.2.2.2 Inductor selection, but this part actually has the oscillator frequency range of 2200 - 2600 MHz.]

Therefore I would like to ask what is the switching frequency of TPS63001? Is there a mistake in the DS or is my understanding incorrect?

Thank you

OPT101: Designing for pulse oximeters

Part Number:OPT101

How to design OPT101P for pulse oximeters where the range of frequencies of the signal is 0.5Hz to 20Hz? Also:

1. How to describe transimpedance gain (in ohms) in decibels?

2. What is the meaning of open loop gain=90db? Is this the intrinsic quality of am opamp?

3. For stability, should the zero come before the pole or after it? In OPT101P, doesn't the zero come after the pole?

4. How is the bandwidth =14kHz calculated from the bode plot?

5. Is f=14kHz the zero frequency of OPT101P?

Assembly coding for c55x processor

Hi,

 I am a beginner in ASM coding for processor C55x. I have some doubts regarding the following lines of code.

   SFTS AC0,#1 ;

|| MOV #4, BRC1 ;  inner loop counter set to number of iterations-1

as a beginner I have some questions :

What is the importance of ‘ ||‘ here?

Is it refers to parallel operation or anything else?

is there any difference without ' ||'?

Hi

Can you help, we are using UCC27519, when VDD = 5V and IN+ is 3V square wave the device work correctly.

However when increase the VDD to 5.5V, In+ the same is 3V, there is no output, does this match the spec? thanks!

How to write C callable functions in assembly language? Which register does the compiler use to pass the first integer parameter to ASM function? And pass the second integer parameter and the third integer parameter? Where can I download this assembly language function routine? My CCS version is 6.1.0.00104. The device I use is TMS320F28377S.

CCS/OMAPL138B-EP: PROCESSOR-SDK-OMAPL138: CSL PINMUX registers messed up

Part Number:OMAPL138B-EP

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi

I am currently trying to migrate my project from MCSDK to Processor_SDK_RTOS_OMAPL138_5_03_00_07 using the PDK_OMAPL138_1_0_8.

As it turned out, all the PINMUX tokens in ti/csl/src/ip/syscfg/V0/cslr_syscfg.h seem to be completely messed up. This means the tokens do not match the values in the datasheet.

e.g. the datasheet says PINMUX14 bit 3 - 0  configures GP6[7]

but the header file says:

#define CSL_SYSCFG_PINMUX14_PINMUX14_3_0_GPIO0_2 (0x00000008u)

I checked a few other tokens which are wrong as well. I think this maybe is a PINMUX table for a DIFFERENT chip, but not the OMAP-L138.

Please check!

Increasing refresh rate at the expense of spatial resolution

$

I saw on your website that you have fast solutions, like DLP7000, which can reach a rate up to 32kHz, which refers to the overall refresh rate of the DLP.

In my application, a high spatial resolution along both x and y axis is not mandatory, but it is enough to have a high number of pixels only along one direction.

I saw from the datasheet of DLP7000 that many DMD operations are possible: single block, dual block, ...

I was wondering if it is possibile tu use only a bank of the dmd (letting all the others off) to increase the frame rate at the expense of a lower effective number of rows. Is it possibile in this case to reach 32*16kHz rate with a single bank active?

If not, is there any other possibility to increase the frame rate at the expense of spatial resolution?

Finally, is it possible to increase speed using only a portion of the DMD also with others chips of the DLP family, like DLP5500 or DLP4500?

Thank you for your time

Best regards,

Alessandro Cominelli

Part Number:TPA2005D1

Hi Sir,

We are using TPA2005D1 Class-D amplifier in my Project.

My project is working on 3.3V.

In the datasheet of TPA2005D1, mentioned that class-D amplifier can drive 8 ohms and 4-ohm speaker for the range above 2.5 V.

Is there any performance degradation, if I use a speaker other than 4-ohm and 8-ohm impedance?

Amey

Linux: Arm Inline Assembly code On Linux Platform

Tool/software: Linux

I want to write the equivalent inline assembly code for the below C code

It should support  ARMv7-a and GNU v5.3.1 (LInaro)

if (low >=  0x01)
    {
      low -= 0x01;
      propagate_carry(ptr);
    }

Here ptr is any pointer.

Can someone help me out with this?

I tried like this :

__asm
    (
        "SUB    %[input_low],    #0x01 \n"
        "MOV  eax,  %[Input1] \n"
        "PUSH eax  \n"
        "CALL propagate_carry  \n"
        "POP ebx \n"
        : [Input1] "=m" (ptr), [input_low] "=r" (low)
    );

While building on CCS 6.2 it is throwing errors :

/tmp/ccDdqZ7X.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccDdqZ7X.s:1565: Error: ARM register expected -- `mov eax,[fp,#-16]'
/tmp/ccDdqZ7X.s:1566: Error: expression too complex -- `push eax'
/tmp/ccDdqZ7X.s:1567: Error: bad instruction `call propagate_carry'

1.How is this #define HALL3_CREATE_MAP(v) working?

2.What is this "Alpha state" "A branch state" "B branch state" "C branch state".

Thanks is advance.

Hi there,

I would like to now if it is possible to set CCFG_FORCE_VDDR_HH=1 (TX on 14dbm) and maintain 1.8V power supply. I am trying to achive a high tx power with a 1.8V power supply. Untill now I have not been able to achieve this, my board turns off around 2.1V when I try to TX on 14dBm.
