BQ40Z50: BQ40z50 thermistor calibration
Part Number:BQ40Z50
Hello
I am using a bq40z50 and right now I am at temperature calibration
I have inserted my thermistor values in spreadshet, the spreadsheet calculated the a's and b's which I have putted in bq40z50 memory.
Still the error is huge. : 5 -15 degrees between applied temperature 30...70 degrees Celsius.
Also I have tried to adjust the offset so I get the bq measure temperature correctly at 60 degrees where my OT protection threshold is set. But if I do that, the ambient temperature gets measured vrey erronated (15 degrees instead of 25) and I am assuming at -10 dgr. the error it will be larger.
What can I do to make bq measure temperature with at leas 5 degrees tolerance ?
This is my thermistor NTCM-10K-B3380

DAC70508EVM: Questions for DAC70508 VDD/VIO Power Supply Issue
Part Number:DAC70508EVM
Hi Experts,
Our customer is evaluating DAC70508 EVM, and found a strange issue when VDD/VIO used the same 3.3V power supply, it can not change REF DIV and Output Gain registers correctly, but if used the separated voltage like VDD=5V, VIO=3.3V, it can work normally. Do we have any special requirements for VDD and VIO for this device?
Thanks a lot!

TLC2272: Input Protection
Part Number:TLC2272
Dear Team,
we understood from some E2E posts that the TLC2272CPW has some advanced ESD at the inputs. Our customer has some questions about the internal clamp diodes:
- Does the TLC2272CPW have internal clamp diodes on the input? (suppose yes because of ESD tolerance)
- Could we also use these to clamp the input signal by limiting the current with an resistor?
- If so what is the maximum allowed current througt the internal clamp diodes?
And also an additional question from my side:
4. The part is already a bit older - do you have a recommendation of a newer part in this category?
Thanks and best regards
Martin

DLP3000: Stored pattern sequence not working
Part Number:DLP3000
Hello, I've been using the DLP3000 module for a few years now and never had any problems. Lately the device started having some issues after there was a power shutdown in my lab and the computer turned off while the DMD was still connected. For the first time I was using the stored pattern sequence and when I tried to run it from the program, the DMD turn off, the connection closed and a red light close to the power connection turns on. At this point the only way to use again the DMD is to disconnect both power cable and usb cable to the computer. Once I do this the DMD turns on properly but always shows a firmware mismatch regarding MSP430. So every time I have to re-update the firmware to version 3.0. But even after that if I try to use the stored pattern sequence the problem will come and I have to do again what I've described before. It's like a loop. The problem is in the DMD for sure because I've tried using another DMD (same model) and run the stored pattern sequence and it works perfectly. So how can I fix this issue? One more thing I'm also using an external trigger to start the sequence.
BQ24070: Suitable Battery Charger
Part Number:BQ24070
Dear Team,
May I have your suggestion on the suitable charger IC?
Currently they are considering BQ24070 because they have internal part number.
They want to have a warning system when the power system don't have power.
So they charging current can be small, please suggest a suitable one base on cost concern.

CC2640R2F-Q1: The specification of HCI_EXT_SetLocalSupportedFeaturesCmd when Slave Latency enabled
Part Number:CC2640R2F-Q1
I'm using SDK v2.40.00.32 with BLE v4.2.
When GATT write command is sent from the master to the slave, it seems that the slave ignores the command (or not responds) during Slave Latency interval.
It's not depend on the configuration by HCI_EXT_SetFastTxResponseTimeCmd() function.
Its specification is described below:
The default system value for this feature is HCI_EXT_ENABLE_FAST_TX_RESP_TIME. When the Host transmits data, the controller (by default) ensures the packet is sent over the LL connection with as little delay as possible, even when the connection is configured to use slave latency. That is, the transmit response time will tend to be no longer than the connection interval.
I think that this configuration influences the response time at the first Slave Latency interval ends after GATT write command is sent.
Is that right?

BQ25100: Any influence from Riset when PRE-TERM pin is left floating?
Part Number:BQ25100
Team,
PRE-TERM can be left floating so that the current is set to the default one given in the BQ25100 datasheet (SLUSBV8C page 6 - see below picture).
Those min/Typ/Max specs are given for Riset = 2.7kOhm.
-Is there any deviation in current when Riset is different?
-Do we have a curve showing the deviation/error for the Riset recommended range (Riset: 13.5 kΩ (10 mA) to 0.54 kΩ (250 mA))?
In this use case the battery is a 20mAh battery. Iout would be 11.25mA (ie using a 12kOhm Riset)) and the goal is to have 10% of Iout for TERM and 20% of Iout for PRE-CHARG.
Thanks in advance.

HDC2010: Regarding the statement "the 2 LSBs D1 and D0 are always 0"
Part Number:HDC2010
Hello,
I have gone through SNAA312 application note. I am bit confused with the statement "the 2 LSBs D1 and D0 are always 0".
1) Whether D0 and D1 are lower two bits in TEMPERATURE[15-0] or lower two bits of TEMPERATURE[15-8] MSB.
When I read temperature I am getting below values. Where D0 and D1 of TEMPERATURE[15-8] MSB is always 0.
25775 : 0x64AF : 0110 0100 1010 1111
25783 : 0x64B7 : 0110 0100 1011 0111
25794 : 0x64C2 : 0110 0100 1100 0010
2) Even examples in SNAA312 is misleading.
TEMPERATURELSB = 0x293B
10555 : 0x293B : 0010 1001 0011 1011 Where both D0 & D1 in TEMPERATURE[15-0] and TEMPERATURE[15-8] are not zero.
HUMIDITYLSB = 0x42DC
17116 : 0x42DC : 0100 0010 1101 1100 Where D0 & D1 in TEMPERATURE[15-8] are not zero.
To avoid all these confusions, better to mark D0 and D1 in register descriptions itself.
Thanks & Regards
Vishnu Beema

RTOS/AM5728: sys_nirqx function for SMP
Part Number:AM5728
Tool/software: TI-RTOS
Hello, TI Experts,
Our customer sent us additional questions about sys_nirqx function of AM5728 from the below E2E thread.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/p/779630/2885183#2885183
They can create their program to use sys_nirq1 and sys_nirq2 on A15_0 like below statements.
Thank you !
>hndHwiIrq1 = Hwi_create(39, intProcIrq1, NULL, NULL);
>hndHwiIrq2 = Hwi_create(151, intProcIrq2, NULL, NULL);
They tied to improve their program by using SMP function with A15_0 & A15_1.
And they said they can also success to run sys_nirq1 and sys_nirq2 function
with only *.cfg fie modification like below;
- BIOS.smpEnabled = true;
Question:
- Are thee any problem by using NULL parameter like below?
>hndHwiIrq1 = Hwi_create(39, intProcIrq1, NULL, NULL);
>hndHwiIrq2 = Hwi_create(151, intProcIrq2, NULL, NULL);
- Are there any additional code modification by using sys_nirq1 and sys_nirq2 function with SMP?
- Could you tell us the recommended way or sample code by using sys_nirq1 and sys_nirq2 function with SMP?

TPS61088: What does Co indicate in R5, C5 and C8 calculations for external compensation ( loop stability)?
Part Number:TPS61088
Hi,
I am using TPS61088 in an application. Please clarify my below query regarding the calculation of passive component values.
What does Co indicate in R5, C5 and C8 calculations? Is it the rated output capacitance or derated output capacitance?
In our application, we are using 3 capacitors having rated capacitance 22uF. The derated capacitance of each capacitor at output voltage is 9.31uF. In this case, what is the value of Co?
Here is the datasheet link for your reference. http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps61088.pdf
