because DS show OPT3002 support standard mode.

is the timing same w/ fast speed mode?

MC34063A: About Charging Current to Timing Capacitor

Part Number:MC34063A

Dear Sir or Madam,

When deciding on a timing capacitor, the following questions should be addressed, so please give me good advice.

The following formula which described in
the Application Report: SLVA252B
Chapter 3.4 Timing Capacitor Calculation

the formula:
Ct = Ichg (min) * (Δt / ΔV)
     = 20 x 10-6 * (ton / 0.5)
     = 4.0 × 10-5 * (ton)

it has become "Ichg (min) = 20 uA".

However, Ichg specifications have become
24uA (min), 35uA (typ), 42uA (max)
on MC34063A data sheet: SLLS636N.

The value of Ichg(mini) is different between the two.
How should I think about "Ichg (min): 20uA" in the equation for Ct?

Sincerely yours,
Hirofumi Sekido

AWR1642: frame and chirp process time tracking in AWR1642 SDK2.xx

Part Number:AWR1642

Dear Officer,

We can get the interChirpProcessingTime, interChirpWaitTime, interFrameProcessingTime and interFrameWaitTime from DSP code MmwDemo_MsgTimeInfor structure.

1. What is unit for these value? Is it cpu ticks rather than usec or msec? How to convert in time unit?

2.  How to calculate these time limit/maximum time based on the chirp/frame configuration? So we can monitor these timing and make sure it won't exceed the deadline limit?

3. Can we get the timing tracking from mss side also? Because we also need to including the process time in mcu side and also the UART/CAN transmission time..

Thanks and best regards

Hello,

I have purchased LAUNCHXL-F280049C. On this launchpad pins are present only for one CAN module. I want to test and use both CAN modules in my system.

1) How to use second CAN module on the same launchpad.

2) Do I need a external CAN transceiver module to use second CAN.

TLV758P: Maximum output capacitance

Part Number:TLV758P

Hi,

May I know if there is any issue for TLV758P when the load has 5 x 100uF output cap (several Vref used for DAC). The load current is around 100mA and output is 5V.

From the datasheet, it is showing maximum output capacitor is 220uF. I found most LDO having 220uF output cap.

Please let me know how to address this if there is any concern.

Or will TLV759P (1A) part be better?

Thanks.

TMS320C6746: Unidirectional use of SPI interface

Part Number:TMS320C6746

SPRUH80C says: 26.2.7 SPI Operation: 3-Pin Mode NOTE: If only unidirectional communication is required, the SPIx_CLK pin and the two data pins (SPIx_SOMI and SPIx_SIMO) must all be configured as functional pins. A 2-pin unidirectional mode is not supported. From this I conclude that neither ball associated with SOMI nor SIMO is avaible as GPIO. Is this correct?

DS90UB953A-Q1: 2 CMOS camera

Part Number:DS90UB953A-Q1

Hi Team,

In my application I have 2 CMOS Camera of Omnivision, I connect the CLK IN of both CMOS.

Each CMOS have LANE 0 & LANE 1 that connect to the DS90UB953 (LANE 0 & LANE 1 of CMOS 1 connect to DS90UB953 & LANE 0 & LANE 1 of CMOS 2 connect to DS90UB953).

Each CMOS have CLK OUTPUT but only the CLK OUTPUT from CMOS 1 connect to DS90UB953, the CLK OUTPUT of CMOS 2 is disconnect (not connect to DS90UB953).

The CMOS camera of Omnivision have: Each LANE have 800bps, 2 LANE MIPI, 1M pixel 120FPS.

That the DS90UB953 can support such application?

I know that TI will have soon samples of DS90UB971/3/5 so I have question about them:

How many lanes 4 or 8 and what the bps of each lane 800 or 1600bps?

Thanks,

Shlomi

Part Number:DP83849I

Hi

I have a question about the oscillator used for DP83849I.
In Table 6-2 in the data sheet (SNOSAX1F – MAY 2008 – REVISED SEPTEMBER 2015), the oscillator frequency is described as 25 MHz + 50 ppm.
Can a 25 MHz +/- 50 ppm oscillator be used?

BQ78350-R1: bqStudio does not list gauge device

Part Number:BQ78350-R1

Hi

I recently started using the EVM for bq76930 and bq78350_R1.

I've installed bqStudio and successfully downloaded and updated the firmware for bq78350 as per instructions in the bq76930 EVM Users Guide.  The GUI now displays version 1e9b_1_04 for the bq78350_R1.

However, when restarting bqStudio, and after selection gauge as the device, the list of device types does not include this version.  An error screen with dire warnings is displayed if 1e9b_1_03 is selected from the list.

I have tried both versions of bqStudio (the current one, and the test one) and both have this same problem.  I've attached screenshots showing the error.
