Hi

I am trying to use C structure variable used as stack for tasks, in inline assembly which can be used easily in the Keil ARM or IAR workbench but I am unable to get the syntax in CCStudio. I am using CC Studio 8.3 and compiler of 18.12...... Kindly help me out here .

Thanks in advance.

AWR1243: SPI interfaces to FPGA

Part Number:AWR1243

Hi

According to AWR1243 device sheet ,SPI and other control interfaces are serially connected to resistance .Is it possible to connect directly to the I/O port of FPGA without a resistance?(both AWR1243 and FPGA interface power supply is 3.3V)

CC3200: Data Rate and Resolution

Part Number:CC3200

Hello

We have application where we would like  to stream Video Camera data over wifi connection.

We understand that the Jacinta Processor might be our best option. However, we believe this would be costly for our application. We looked at CC3200 and in particular TIDC-CC3200-VIDEO reference design.

Our questions are;

·        It seems that the best video resolution we can stream using this reference design is 720p at 30FPS. Is that; (1)camera limitation, (2)wi-fi data rate limitation or there is another reason?

·        Does TI offer any other platform (apart from CC3200) that would allow us improving the data rate and hence and the video streaming resolution

·        We are unable to source that Omni OV788 board. Any advice where can we get it?

TPS65987D: About the settings in DisplayPort capabilities, and behavior of ELECOM DisplayPort adapter (AD-CDPBK)

Part Number:TPS65987D

Hi, I'm an engineer of laptop PC product. Please call me Takki.

Now my team are working on products using TPS65987DDH.

Application customization tool is ver5.1.
Some our products support USB Gen2 and TBT3, and others support USB Gen1 and DP alt Mode.

We realized that when we connect ELECOM Type C-DP adapter(AD-CDPBK) to our products, video output success-or-fail is depend on the settings in DisplayPort Capabilities[0x51] bit 10 and 11.

DisplayPort Capabilities[0x51] bit 10=Supports DP v1.3 signaling
DisplayPort Capabilities[0x51] bit 11=Supports USB Gen 2 signaling

After "Enter Mode", DFP(TPS65987) sends "DP Configure Message".
Then, UFP returns "DP Configure ACK Message".

"DP Configure Message" contains DP v1.3 bit and USB Gen2 Signal bit, and the status of each bit is just the same as the settings in DisplayPort Capabilities[0x51] bit 10 and 11.

According to the settings, the video output success-or-fail will change.
Please see the table bellow.

 Supports Gen2 Signaling
check box
F/W 0x51 [11]
Supports DP v1.3
Signaling
check box
F/W 0x51 [10]
Gen2 : DP v1.3
bit status
in "DP Configure Message" from DFP(TPS65987)
Output Result
Pattern11:01DP Output NG
Pattern2 1:00DP Output NG
Pattern3 0:01DP Output OK
Pattern4 0:00DP Output NG

When the output succeeds, UFP(AD-CDPBK) returns ACK as a "DP Configure ACK Message" .
When the output fails, UFP(AD-CDPBK) returns NAK as a "DP Configure ACK Message", and DFP(TPS65987) issues "Exit Mode", and then alternate mode is ended.

Now we are thinking about changing the setting of DP capabilities [0x51] bit 10 and 11 so that AD-CDPBK can output images.

 But we have some questions.

1. What are the influences if the USB Gen2 bit in 0x51 is un-checked.
(If we use USB Gen2 device without DP alt mode, is this bit ignored?)
(If we use USB Gen2 device with DP alt mode, is the speed limited to Gen1?)

2.DFP(TPS65987) set the DP v1.3 bit and  USB Gen2 Signal bit in "DP Configure message" according to DisplayPort Capabilities[0x51] bit 10 and 11. Is it appropreate behavior as DFP?
(DFP could know the capabilities of UFP device by receiving "Discover Mode ACK message", so we think these bits may need to be changed to the current available sigals.)

Besides, if you know, please answer the bellow question.

3. ELECOM AD-CDPBK return NAK when the "DP Configure message" is defferent from its expectaion.  Is it appropreate behavior as UFP?

Now, we will soon have to take TBT3 compliance test. After the test, we cannot change our TPS65987 F/W images.

So please reply as soon as possible. I will contact TI Japanese sales team.

Thank you

Compiler/AWR1843: AWR1843 :About how use HWA

Part Number:AWR1843

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hello ,

About HWA

After run HWA_enable(),the value set in the register is cleared to 0.

Is this not a problem?

Also HWA_init() and HWA_open() are actived. But When HWA_setSoftwareTrigger() and HWA_setDMA2ACCManualTrig() are used, an error of HWA_ENOINIT occours.

Are there another settings required to use the above trigger function?

BQ34Z100-G1: Failing checksum with BQ-studio-generated commands in ROM mode.

Part Number:BQ34Z100-G1

(Please visit the site to view this file)

Hello,

I'm seeing a problem where I try to execute the attached commands. On the suggestions of other users of this part I extend all timeouts by a factor of 10 or to a minimum of 200ms.

When I get to line 179 of the attached file, instead of reading 0x30, 0x38, 0x7b, 0xea from address 0x16, offset 0x04, I read 0xb5, 0x44, 0x6a, 0xd4.

Can anyone point to documentation of what these values might be, or suggest why the device is not behaving as expected? I think the previous command that is successful is validating a checksum, so I'm completely lost at this point.

I'm using an STM32F407 with the HAL i2c interface, provided an abstraction layer for reads/compares that writes or compares one byte at a time, incrementing the offset by 1. I would expect a bug in that interface to surface much before all the way down on line 179.

All other writes/compares are successful until this point.

TIA,

Matthew

LM317: On the rise of LM317 and LM337

Part Number:LM317

Hi,

I would like to supply ± 2.5 V from ± 12 V input as a power supply using LM317 and LM337 as pressure sensors.

Attach the wiring diagram.

Please let me know if there is something wrong with the usage.

In particular, the values of the adjustment resistors are given in the respective data sheets of the LM317 and LM337.
We use the recommended values listed, but should we use the same constants?

Also, if the rise of ± 12 V is simultaneous, is it OK to recognize that the rise of ± 2.5 V is also simultaneous?

regards.

DP83822I: clock shifts

Part Number:DP83822I

See below copied from the datasheet. It clearly states that for the RX internal Clock shift, a “1” is enabled, but for the TX internal clock shift, a “1” is disabled.  That seems strange. Please verify this is correct. We want to enable both the TX and RX internal clock delays and I want to make sure we’re doing it right.

Dear Supporters.

I saw in your document at Headphone Driver Startup Control Register, Time constants assume 47uF decoupling cap.

But at my side, we are using 100uF as blow picture:

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

And I set that register as Example setup Session (w 0x30 0x14 0x25), but POP signal stiil there.

I thinks time constants settting was wrong. Do you have any suggestions in this case ?

Which is the best configuration with my design ?

Thanks and Regards,
