TM4C129XKCZAD: EPIOS Bus
Part Number:TM4C129XKCZAD
Is EPIOS a self clocking system or do certain lines (for optimum performance of the EPIOS bus), have to go to a clock input if (for example) one was interfacing between this uController and an FPGA? To put the question another way, do some of the lines of the EPIOS bus have specific functions in some modes?
CC2630: TIMAC - When changing the channel, how do I know the operation has been completed?
Part Number:CC2630
Is there a way to get a callback or read some kind of flag indicating that the MAC channel has changed after execution of the following code:
uint8_t channel = 20;
MAC_MlmeSetReq(MAC_LOGICAL_CHANNEL, &channel);
My code is sending messages on the old channel even though I'm tuning the radio to the new channel using the code above prior to sending the message.
IWR1642BOOST: People Counting Demo tweaking
Part Number:IWR1642BOOST
After finding out how to use the centroids in the people counting demo, I would like to know if it would be possible to increase the resolution in a close range for this demo (since I suppose the default chirp is best tuned for the 6x6m room)? I know that chirp configuration helps, but which parameters would be the best to tweak.
Also some questions to know if it would be possible to use the people counting demo without the gui, just running it endlessly.

RTOS/TMS320C6747: Config file build error with compiler 7.4.24
Part Number:TMS320C6747
Tool/software: TI-RTOS
Please see related thread, link provided here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/p/710939/2640854#pi320966=1
I'm having nearly the exact same symptoms with CCSv8.3 attempting to upgrade a project from CCSv7 to the latest tools. The project fails to build with compiler 7.4.24 with 27 errors in Bioscfg.obj about invalid constant specification and a remark showing a line changed due to symbol substitution where it looks like some strings got replaced (probably related to the avgformat workaround).
>> Compilation failure bsp/subdir_rules.mk:33: recipe for target 'Bioscfg.obj' failed "Bioscfg.s62", ERROR! at line 3051: [E0003] Invalid constant specification SWI_Obj 1, KNL_swi, 0, _function, _pri, _mailbox, _arg0, _arg1, _dorta, _Order, _filter, _maxformat, _sumformat, _avgformat, _filtmaxmult, _filtsummult, _unittype "Bioscfg.s62", REMARK at line 3051: [R0001] After symbol substitution the line became: SWI_Obj 1, KNL_swi, 0, _KNL_run, 00H, 00H, 00H, 00H, 01H, 00H, 02H, %g inst, %g inst, %.2f inst, _filtmaxmult, _filtsummult, _unittype
If I attempt to build the project with 7.4.23 the project builds fine. After a successful build with 7.4.23, the project will build fine with 7.4.24. Doing a diff on a project that won't build and an identical project that will build shows no differences in Bioscfg.s62. I could not find a relevant difference between the two projects other than the .cproject file.
I don't see any accepted open defects found with compiler 7.4.24 and there wasn't really a resolution to the linked thread other than using 7.4.23, is this the accepted answer?

BQ25713EVM-017: VSYS dropping voltage when battery is not attached
Part Number:BQ25713EVM-017
Hello,
We are seeing the following voltage curves when turning on a 1A motor downstream from the EVM:
Without a battery attached:
With a battery attached:
The voltage drop that occurs when a battery is not attached is causing our downstream 5V rail to drop out.
Adding 1000uF cap to the port of VSYS and GND made very little difference.
Please advise.

Compiler/TMS320F28377D: Control of Multilevel Inverter with TMS320F28377D
Part Number:TMS320F28377D
Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler
Hi all
I am going to start a project in the control of a single-phase inverter, bridge H, to then advance in multi-level cascade converters (MMC-5L). The library to use is the "C Digital Power Library" V1.0 Jun-15 "? It is not clear to me what is the library for motor control and what is for the power electronics itself ?.
I need to manage only power electronics (control of inverters), since the control algorithms to be developed will be dedicated to the integration of power to the grid and not to the control of electric machines. What is the library that I should use?
Thank you
regards
Juan

I have a bq40z50EVM fuel gauge evaluation module, a bq24770EVM NVDC charge controller evaluation module and an EV2400 PC interface. I want to hook all three up to my 3S3P battery line-up in an experimental system. Can this be done? How do I do it?
AWR1843BOOST: How to obtain the radiation pattern of the antenna (far field information)
Part Number:AWR1843BOOST
We are trying to simulate the 1843BOOST and require the radiation pattern of the antenna (far field) to have a beam as close as possible to the actual antenna in order for the simulation to be as close as possible to reality. One recommendation is to get the ffd file from TI, but that is not available as per TI support. What is the best way to obtain that data? Thanks
BQ25895: Default VBAT voltage does not match datasheet
Part Number:BQ25895
At cold power up, we observe REG06 reading as 0x82, which corresponds to a battery float and VSYS of 4.352v.
This does not match the datasheet, which says REG06 defaults to 0x5A or 4.208v.
We have confirmed that the watchdog also resets to this voltage.... which is borderline dangerous for 4.2v Li-Ion cells.
When we set the expected default of 0x5A, we see the expected 4.208v +/- 0.5% output.
I can understand why there may be a variant that has different defaults, eg for silicon anode batteries, but as far as I am aware there are no variants for this part. We have observed this on multiple parts.

TPS65217CEVM: PMIC goes into off state after 8 second PB_IN signal at boot up
Part Number:TPS65217CEVM
HI,
I have a design that is based on the Beagle Bone Black reference circuit.
The device will always be powered by a 5V DC supply and will be inaccessible once installed. I need to be 100% sure that if there is power connected the device always attempts to boot up from the off state.
I have found a condition where this is not the case and the PMIC doesn't appear to follow the design functional modes flowchart given in the datasheet page 39.
If the power is applied with PB_IN held low for greater than 8s, the PMIC goes to active state and then does a forced reset after 8 seconds. If PB_IN is then released the PMIC appears to go to the off state. V_SYS is low, LDO1 is low despite VIN being 5V continuously. This is contrary to the flowchart which suggests that after a reset the PMIC will always reboot.
Is there a way of preventing this behaviour?
In my application this is happening due to a hardware watchdog circuit that is resetting the PMIC via the PB_IN input.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I only want to use Channel 1 on this part. How do you disable EN2?
Do I tie EN2, Fault2 and OUT2 to GND? Or, do I leave them unconnected?

PMLKBUCKEVMB: PMLKBUCKEVMB
Part Number:PMLKBUCKEVMB
Hi there, I was directed by TI customer support to post my issue here. Case number CS0022851.
The issue is that I ordered PMLKBUCKEVMB but received Rev A hardware. The Rev A hardware doesn't match the educational handbook I received.
I was offered the Rev A handbook but I would like the latest version of hardware that I ordered. I notice that there are improvements to the design that improve performance so I definitely want the latest version. Please can you send?
CC1350: How to configure RC Oscillator for High Frequency.
Part Number:CC1350
Hello,
I am trying to use internal RC Oscillator for CC1350. But, I didn't found any setting for HF RC-Oscillator. I remove external crystal of my device and configure "SET_CCFG_MODE_CONF_XOSC_FREQ = 0x2" in ccfg.c. But my LED blinking code not working in this case. If I solder 24MHz crystal then its works properly.
As per the reference provided by TI, This setting is not for RC Oscillator its for external Oscillator only. Please correct me if I am wrong.
As per the data sheet of CC1350, This IC have a 2 internal oscillator [1] 48MHz (HF) and [2] 32KHz (LF). Please let us know how to configure 48MHz (HF) internal oscillator.
