Part Number:LM358A

Hello

Because of problems in functional testing and checking assembly I have seen there is a different device marking on LM358A.
In production lot 1  we did not have such functional testing problems.

Below you see the device marking of lot 1 (with TI label) and lot 2 (without label) and the reel label from production lot 2.

Device marking lot 1:

Device marking lot 2:

Reel label of lot 2:

Please could you check if these amplifiers from lot 2 are really origin ware from TI.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Stefan

Part Number:TL082A

Hi Team,

Here is a application. A 1200Vdc should be attenuated to signal level and connect DSP A/D terminal. I'm learn the method there are:

 1. Using the passive resistor and consist a divided circuit, after series a buffer to DSP,

 2. Using differential input for OP ( TL082A, Set Gain 0.002 V/V) and series a buffer to DSP,

 3. Using fully-differential amplifiers and series a buffer to DSP

 4. ...

 My questions are:

 1. Weather have more solution for High voltage attenuator, how about each of solutions pros and cons?

 2. For cost concern, I'm try to use solution 2 (TL082A, ). Can you advice It's a good option or not? What key parameters I should take care? How to estimate the amplifier stable?

 3. Which topology are best solution for high high voltage input? Can I have the details and reasons? Tks.

Xiaobing (Eric)

LMX2594: VCO selection when 12GHz output

Part Number:LMX2594

Hello team,

I have a question about LMX2594.

My customer has two EVMs and set 12GHz output setting along with datasheet recommendation; VCO_SEL=4, VCO_DACISET_STRT=300 and VCO_CAPCTRL_STRT=1.

However, two EVMs show different VCO selection behavior like below table. One EVM behaves that VCO5 is always selected. but another EVM shows that VCO is selected alternately between VCO4 and VCO5 ever time FCAL_EN is sent.

EVM#11st2nd3rd4th5th6th
rb_VCO_SEL545454
rb_VCO_CAPCTRL183118311831
rb_VCO_DACISET195235195235195235

EVM#21st2nd3rd4th5th6th
rb_VCO_SEL555555
rb_VCO_CAPCTRL182182182182182182
rb_VCO_DACISET227228228229229229

Settings are; Oscin=125MHz, Fpd=62.5MHz, N divider=192, Fvco=12GHz VCO output, integer mode, PFD_DLY_SEL=1, FCAL_LPFD_ADJ: Fpd>=10, FCAL_HPFD_ADJ: Fpd<=100, CAL_CLK_DIV: Div2.

Although I think VCO5 has to be selected at 12GHz output, Is there any missing requirement?

Best regards,

Hi,

We have developed a complicated Cyclone V SOC GX based design where we are using ADS4249IRGCT.

We are using this ADC for the first time and the development of such boards will be in sizeable numbers of 300 per year but I am unable to check for samples for this IC.

5 numbers of such samples will be really useful for us along with jitter cleaner - CDCE72010RGCT.

Our requirement is very urgent and R&D pressure during prototyping, if some one can help us will be very grateful.

Thanking You

TS5A3357: On-chip negative voltage generator?

Part Number:TS5A3357

Does the TS5A3357 (and similar switches) have a built-in negative voltage generator (NVG), as is the case in some other switches that need positive supply/control voltage only (i.e. GaAs type RF switches)?

If so, how strong are the spurs of the NVG leaking into the switch channel/signal?

I am asking because we intend to use the TS5A3357 for switching the oscillator tuning voltage in a PLL featuring switchable VCXOs.

Part Number:CC3220S-LAUNCHXL

Hello.

When CC3220S-LAUNCHXL is plugged in to the computer, device manager recognize not as XDS110 any COM port but unknown device in USB.

When I attempt connect CC3220S-LAUNCHXL to CCS JTAG, there is an error -260 and described that xds firmware update is needed.

So I would like to update the firmware of XDS110.

I am referring following document.

C:\ti\ccs901\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110\XDS110SupportReadMe.pdf

After doing "Recovering a Bricked XDS110 without JTAG", only D7 LED seems to be on.

Then, I execute following command referring "Updating the Firmware Using xdsdfu", but command prompt say "The request device was not found on the bus".

C:\ti\ccs901\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110>xdsdfu.exe -m

Could you tell me how to recover XDS110 in CC3220S-LAUNCHXL?

Hi Ti team,

We found that the distortion of TLV320AIC3254 was too large, up to 2%. The 1KHz signal was played, and the measured waveform was shown in the figure below. We have broken all the periphery of the analog output and eliminate PCB interference as far as possible. sch as attachment

Could you give us some advise for this?thanks !

RTOS/CC1350: Low power mode, Not getting desired output

Part Number:CC1350

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hello,

I am working on low power mode to reduce the power consumption in the board. I tested the sensor example application on CC1350 board and checked the current consumption. It is coming upto 6.54mA and when the node send the data to collector the current will increase to 10.65mA. Can anyone explain why it is taking so much of current?

what is the max current it will take when it sends the data to collector?

Thanks in advance.

TPS7A19: Max. ratings for Vout

Part Number:TPS7A19

Hi all,

I have a question: the max. rating is for Vout=VIN+0.3V. At the switch-off moment in the application, it's not possible to guarantee that voltage. There are on the output up to 80µF. The input voltage can drop within a few ms from 20V to 0V. What is the maximum current of the body diode for a short amount of time? When is an external reverse diode required?

Best regards, Xaver

DDC112: Isolation resistor

Part Number:DDC112

I am designing an instrument based on the DDC112 as a student project.

The lower part of figure 29 in the datasheet shows the DVDD power supply derived from the AVDD supply with a < 10 ohm isolation resistor. I would be grateful if someone could explain how the resistor protects the analog supply from noise. The isolation resistor is absent in Application Note MULTI-DDC112 BOARD DESIGN (figure 1a) as well as in User Guide DEM-DDC112U-C EVALUATION FIXTURE (figure 10).

I also noticed that the Application Note MULTI... (figure 1a) has decoupling capacitors of 1uF at the supply inputs and the User Guide DEM-DDC.. (figure 10) has 10uF + 0.1uF. Why so?

Christer

On CC2640R2F, if X32K_Q1 and X32K_Q2 are not being used:

  1. What are the default states of X32K_Q1 and X32K_Q2 pins; for example, do they remain as input & output respectively, or do they become hi-Z?
  2. Can X32K_Q1 and/or X32K_Q2 be configured to hi-Z or 0 states?
  3. Can X32K_Q1 and/or X32K_Q2 be configured such that they can be externally connected to GND?

Hello,

I am using the cc2652 as an SPI Slave device. If there is no chip select used for this, then would there be any issues with the clock. Would there be a possibility for glitches to appear at the clock provided by the Master ?

P.S There is only a single slave device being used in this SPI communciation.
