Dear sir,
I am working on gearbox health monitoring R&D project. In our project, I need a proximity sensor which will detect distance of gear teeth (which is ferrous material) from the probe of the sensor and gives a proportional analog voltage output, like Linear hall effect sensors gives. again I want to sample this data around 50KHz. So sensors impulse response time Should be less than 1/50000=20 usec. It should have a resolution of measured distance less than 1mm. Also sensor should be only magnetic type like hall effect sensors. But It should be able to detect distances of ferrous materials. Concept here is that ferrous material changes magnetic flux densities and it should work on same principle as many commercially available hall effect gear tooth sensors works. But the problem I found that most of the hall effect proximity sensors measures distances of magnet not ferrous/ferromagnetic material.
Kindly suggest us which of your sensor will best suit our requirements.
Thank and Regards
