Part Number:AM3352
Hi team,
We are using the AM3352BZCZA100 in our design but we are using discrete power parts instead of using a PMIC. We are currently using the same 1.1V rail for both VDD_CORE and VDD_MPU which puts us at OPP100 which is a 'Valid Combination' according to Table 5-8 in the datasheet.
We can pretty easily change this rail to 1.2V which is the NOM voltage for VDD_MPU for OPP120 or 1.26V (Turbo) or 1.325V (Nitro) (Table 5-7). However, Table 5-8 shows that the valid combination for the VDD_CORE should be OPP100 for all of these operating points. As we only have one rail, will there be an issue if we also set the VDD_CORE to 1.2 - 1.325V if we are considering OPP120, Turbo, or Nitro modes?
Also, if we have the OPP set to Nitro by setting the VDD_MPU to 1.325V allowing us to use the 1 GHz frequency, can we operate the device at a lower frequency without changing the voltage?
