Hello,
I'm new to TI's fuel gauges. I see that there is an internal CPU with the fuel gauges such as the BQ40Z50. How flexible is that internal CPU? Meaning can it be a general purpose MCU?
I would like to program the internal MCU to communicate with an external device via SMBus. Would that be possible or is the internal MCU strictly for controlling the fuel gauge?
If the internal MCU can be used for general purpose how much instruction flash are available?
