CC3220: How to restrict host-unaware HTTP server REST-ful API

Hi,

In the Programmer's guide (SWRU455C, October 2017) of simplelink, it is explained how the network processor can host a HTTP(s) server that can offload many things from the host processor.
Specifically, it is possible to use a REST-API get and set a lot of things, like SSID information, but also network policy. These "pages" are not even visible in the filesystem from uniflash, but it just works.

That's very cool, but I don't immediately find a way to restrict exactly what the HTTP server can or cannot do.

For instance, I might only be interested for a user to configure the SSID in AP mode, but not change the network connection policy (in the sense that it might automatically jump back to AP mode if it fails to connect).

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for your reply!

Arnout
