AM3352: eQEP capture

Part Number:AM3352

Hi Team,

My customer is trying to use the AM3352 EQEP to capture some wave.

The picture shown as below tells the different waveform they met during the capture.

Usually most of the waveform is as the WAVE 4 in the picture, which could be captured correctly during the application.

However, if WAVE1 or WAVE 3 are met, it usually lost 1 in the WAVE 3, while an additional one was captured in WAVE 1.

So my question would be whether the issue I mentioned as above in WAVE1 and WAVE3 can be avoided.

PS: The current software dealing programming code setting are as below:

1. set the EQEP in the Quadrature mode

2. set the QPOSINIT to 0

3. set the QPOSMAX to 3. It means, during one pulse, the poscnt plus& minus 4 times, so it was defined as 3. Each pulse would generate an interrupt. ( counting the 4 edging then generate an interrupt).

4. initialize the PCO|PCU interrupt.

5. QPOSMAX reach its value then set to QPOSINIT
