Part Number:LMX2571
I'd like to use an external 153.6 MHz VCXO on the LMX2571. Most VCXO's seem to be 3.3 volts, and are limited to 3.3 v tuning voltage. The LMX2571 data sheet seems rather adamant that the external charge pump should run off a 5 volt supply. Is that going to produce a 5 volt tuning voltage? If so, that'll probably damage the VCXO. Can I run the external charge pump off 3.3 volts?
