TMS320F28069F: InstaSpin FOC AC Induction Motor Connection Types and InstaSpin FOC Parameters for F28069F

We're using the F28069F w/ InstaSpin FOC and we have connected our inverter output to AC induction motors rated at Y400V/Δ230V.  We currently wire these in a delta configuration (ie working with 230V rated power). This is a typical motor design intended to connect to the EU 400V 3-phase nets.  We then provide InstaSpin with the associated motor parameters from the motor label (rated voltage, amps, cosphi).

Will there be any issues if we connect a Y230V motor in star configuration instead?

When providing motor parameters to instaSpin, is the type of wiring/connection (Y or Delta) a concern.. does InstaSpin require different/separate parameters for each connection type?

Or.. as long as the motor parameters are correct, instaSpin FOC will cope with the different wiring setups automatically (especially concerning motor ID and applying these measured values)?

In general, we would need to know how to come up with the correct set of parameters (for AC induction motors) to feed into instaSpin FOC, as well as how to parameterize for the different wiring variants of the same motor. Advice?  Is this covered in the InstaSpin docs somewhere that I a missing?  Thanks!
