LM340: Linear Regulator of DPAK Package

Part Number:LM340

Hi there,

I was trying to find a replacement of MC7812BDTRKG and LM340 popped up in the cross reference page.

However, my customer said that he prefers DPAK package while LM340 is in DDPAK.

Is there any other part that matches my customer's need?

Or is there any part of smaller package than DPAK?
