TPS65381A-Q1: how to detect the error when the VDD5 pin is open

Hi, all:

   I take the TPS65381A-Q1 chip with the RM46L852 and connect the VDD5 output line to the  VccAD /  ADREFHI  line of the MCU

   My question is , if VDD5 line is open,   how to detect this error?

   In this condition,  THE ADC module of RM46L852 is in no supply voltage, will be invalid.   Can [MibADC Input Self Test]  written by [Safety Manual for RM46x Hercules™] in page 61  detect this error?
