Hello.
I want to pair a CC3220MODA with an AR0237 image sensor to make a security camera. I was planning to use the parallel camera interface and store images or video on an SD card when the WiFi network is unavailable.
After reading the CC3220MODA data sheet, it seems as though this is not possible: The SD card CMD pin clashes with either pXCLK (pin 4) or CAM_D7 (pin 8) on the CC3220. If I am correct, I see three options:
1) Do away with the SD card (and lose a lot of usefulness).
2) Provide an external clock to the image sensor. (I don't think this is allowed!)
3) Somehow use the HiSPi serial output of the AR0237. (I have no idea if that could work.)
Can anyone offer advice? Am I correct in thinking that a parallel camera and an SD card cannot work together on the CC3220? Are either 2) or 3) possible solutions?
