DLP7000UV: Is it possible to a DMD to work on 240 -280 nm UV region?

Part Number:DLP7000UV

Hi Forum,

I´m working on a application for the DMD´s that will enable a camera to look at different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The UV DMD´s are positioned on the UVA part of that spectrum, from 363 to 420 nm according the dlpa060 paper on TI site.

My question is twofold: first if is the coating applied on the glass that filters light to that 363-420 range? or second is the glass spec that is tuned to that range?

Depending on the answer, is it possible to remove the AntiUV coating form the glasses?

The DMD´s can function without the protective glass cover?

The technical problem we try to solve is detection of corona effect on electrical equipment and those effects happen to exist on 240 -280 nm spectrum region.

Thanks for any advice/help!!

Carlos
