TMS570LS1227: PBIST.PACT.PACT1 is stuck at 0

a question was raised about setting of PBIST PACT register to 0x3, and the fact that PACT1 cannot be set. It was stated that PACT1 was not necessary, and so everywhere that says set PACT to 0x3 could/should in fact say set PACT to 0x1. This was for the TMS570LC4357. I have the same issue/question about TMS570LS1227. The post never got back with a definite confirmation. Is it possible to do this.
