Part Number:AM3358
Tool/software:TI-RTOS
Hi all,
I'm working on a school project to build a proof-of-concept prototype of a HiFi surround-sound amplifier. I'm hoping to "barebones" program the AM3358 as a basic audio DSP (basic filters, volume, etc.), so I'll be working with I2S and reading .wav files from a uSD. I'm working with the beaglebone as a development board (student = no $$$), and although I'm confident with programming in c, and I've worked in Linux before, I'm almost as new as I can get to embedded processor programming.
Which is a better starting point for this, RTOS or Starterware? Or both?
What's the difference and pros/cons?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James Jones
