Part Number:CC2650STK

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm my question.

[Question]
According to the User's guide and wiki, the SensorTag battery is not necessary if the sensortag revsion 1.3 or later. Is this description correct?

TI wiki: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../LED_Audio_DevPack_User_Guide
User's guide: www.ti.com/.../tidua61.pdf
****************
For SensorTag hardware earlier than revision 1.2, the battery must be inserted while powering the LED Audio DevPack from the USB power supply. For SensorTag hardware revision 1.3 and later, the SensorTag does not require that the battery is inserted.
***************
In my understanding, if there is not the battery on Sensortag, the Analog switch on SensorTag will may have a damage because the Switch device will input the voltage for pin even though Vcc does not supply.

Best regards.
Kaka
