MSP432P401R: Sampling two signals fast

Hi,

I have to sample two signals of about 40 kHz each over one period of time.

I have an external square wave which indicates the start and finish of the conversion. Over that period, I need to sample those two signals; after that, I need to process the signals and send the result. It doesn't have to sample two consecutive periods, just one is enough.

I know that I should use the DMA, but I don´t understand exactly how I could do so. I've seen the example code posted in https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/477341, but I don't quite understand it.

Does anyone have an idea on how I could do this?
