TMS320C28346: About XINTF Timing

Hi,

My customer is using XINTF with below setting.

• 300MHz System clock

• XTIMCLK = 1 (fc_XTIM = 150MHz)

• X2TIMING = 0

• USEREADY = 0

• READYMODE = 0

• Write

  Lead : 1, Active : 6, Trail : 0

• Read

  Lead : 1, Active : 6, Trail : 0

 and according to the userguide(SPRUFN4), it seems like customer's setting is not vaild.

However, Customer's setting works pretty well. they tested this setting for a long time with many samples.

Here is their questions.

1. is it ok to use XINTF with customer's setting?

2. if system clock changed into 150MHz, Should we apply same register configuration restrictions?

3. in case of system clock is 300MHz, and XTIM clock is 150MHz, Should we apply same register configuration restrictions?
