Part Number:TMP006
Hello,
I am using the TMP006 in a custom board, that will go inside a larger housing with other components and a fan. Some of these components need cooling more than the object whose temperature I'm measuring with the TMP006, meaning the fan will activate independently from the TMP006's target object (there will be some correlation, because when the other components need cooling, the target object will most of time also be relatively hot).
I have done some data collection and concluded that the fan's operation won't affect the sensor sensitivity too much (because it's board sits inside a housing that greatly limits forced convection at the sensor surface), but nevertheless would like to perform the best calibration possible. So, how should I incorporate the fan effect on the calibration? Should the fan always be on, or only above a certain temperature? Should I collect multiple readings at the same temperature point with the fan off and on?
Tanks.
