Hello,
I am using the TRF7970AEVM board with the standard firmware, and some hardware modifications
- Removed the U1 USB-UART converter,
- Connected the UART lines to my host processor.
The host processor is sending frames to the EVM's MSP430. But this is not replied.
I found out that to have replies (and make it work) I need to push the reset button. Once pushed the MSP430 replies all the time.
This is illustrated in the following image:
In this image the white line is the EVM MSP430 RX. The data coming from the host.
The red line is the data ready indication of the first line. (not on the EVM board)
The Orange line is the data sent by the EVM MSP430 to the host.
Q1: How can I avoid using the reset button, and have the device working directly at start-up?
Q2: The MSP430 also sends regularly (see image orange data) sent with contents "ISO15963". Is it possible to switch this off?
