Everyone,
We have just released a new maintenance/patch release of our FW.
It can be downloaded from the PurePath Wireless Configurator homepage:
http://www.ti.com/tool/purepath-wl-cfg
The User Guide will also have a minor update soon (SWRU250M) and the full list of changes can be found in the PurePath Wireless Configurator change log (in the help system).
Bug Fixes
- [FW] For USB devices, volume control would mute at the configured minimum setting instead of at -128.000 dB, which is a special value of CUR that corresponds to muting and is allowed in addition to the MIN-MAX interval. This would cause permanent muting if the configured minimum happened was 0.0 dB.
- [FW] For USB devices, a volume control GET_CUR request would always return values from the MIN-MAX interval. In case of -128.000 dB, which corresponds to muting, GET_CUR would return the MIN value.
- [FW] USB device enumeration and other endpoint 0 read operations could fail and result in corrupted data packets transmitted to the USB host. The issue was related to USB packet timing, and has so far only been triggered by USB 3.0 hosts on certain motherboards.
- [FW] USB-based protocol masters could fail re-enabling network maintenance if resuming operation from suspended mode by USB reset signaling. The issue was timing dependent, and would only be triggered frequently by certain USB hosts.
- [FW] Fixed problem with output power to PA setting look-up table that could result in a disparity between requested and actual output power for some devices.
- [DOC] Using RFT_RXTST_RSSI in conjunction with RFT_TXTST_CW at the same FREQ_OFFSET might result in fluctuating RSSI measurements. To get a stable and reliable RSSI measurement either offset RFT_RXTST_RSSI with +/- 1 MHz vs. the frequency used in RFT_TXTST_CW, or use this EHIF command in conjunction with RFT_TXTST_PN.
As always, let us know if there are issues with the Configurator tool and it's functionality.
Regards,
Kjetil
