HSYNC reconstruction with TFP401

I am using the TFP401 for an HDMI to MIPI conversion board in order to drive small OLED panels from a PC. When driving the panel from an NVidia GeForce GTX680 over HDMI, I am not seeing what I expect on HSYNC reconstruction after the TFP401. VSync is active HIGH and the blanking period appears correct, but HSYNC behavior doesn’t match what I’m expecting it to be based on my EDID settings as well as the fact that HSYNC is changing form during vertical blanking interval.

In fact, my EDID setting should have HSYNC as active HIGH yet the indicated signal during the active area looks more like active LOW plus the horizontal sync widths are incorrect. During vertical blanking, the behavior changes - the sync width changes (though still not quite what the EDID settings indicate) and the pulse periods are about ¼ what they should be.

The following link shows an image of the signals - http://imgur.com/KzhI1Y1

Do you know what might trigger this behavior or what resources I might be directed to regarding the TFP401 HSYNC and VSYNC reconstruction?
