MSP-EXP430F5529 (experimenter board): delay,display wrong characters and no usb echo

I'm using a ECHO USB app (user experience fw) on MSP-EXP430F5529 demo board, the enviroment is the following:

• Windows XP professional
• Hyperterminal (virtual COM 11, 9600 baud,N,8,1, NO FLOW CONTROL)

I reach the following problems:

1. every char coming from PC (Hyperterminal) are displayd on the LCD after more than one seconds
2. char coming from PC are often displayd as a different character (press "A" and display "."....)
3. no echo of the char to the PC 

Someone know if these problems are firmware bug or Windows problem or wrong setting problems ?
