I'm working with the Appro DM385 IPNC and am experiencing a strange problem:
I'm using VMWare workstation 9 to host an Ubuntu guest which hosts the NFS server and the IPNC_RDK folder. When using Ubuntu 10.04, everything works fine and DM385 loads the nfs on boot. However once I upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 on the VM, DM385 fails to mount the nfs on boot and gives a kernel panic error. The environment settings were not changed on the DM385 in between.
I've made sure to configure the /etc/exports on the ubuntu 12.04 and restarted the nfs server. Using an NFS client from the windows 8 host worked well and opened the filesystem.
I've already tried the recommended environment settings from the TI Wiki and I went over the proposed solution in this thread: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/716/t/156724.aspx
Any suggestions?
