Hello everybody,
currently I am devoloping a portable medical device. Therefore I am using the TLV 61220 to boost the supply voltage for my MSP430F2619. The output voltage from the TLV 61220 should be around 3 V.
That´s my first time to develop a circuit that´s why I used the design rules and recommandations from TI.
Unfortunately I have some troubles during the verification of this device:
Although the device works fine and I got all desired signals on my oscilloscope, the output voltage from the TLV is around 1.5 V. I checked all resistors (R1= 1MOhm, R2= 200kOhm), capacitors (C1,2 = 10µF) and inductors (L = 4.7 µH). Furthermore I checked my circuit design and the pins of the TLV 61220.
Everthing is okay, except the output voltage of my TLV.
Could sombody give me an explanation for that behaviour ? Shall I change the TLV ? Or did I misunderstand one technical detail?
In my opinion I destroyed the TLV 61220 during the soldering procedure.
Many thanks for your adivce.
Stefan
