AM3352 DDR3 8 bit versus 16 bit

Hi Champs,

There is an urgent query. Customer is planning to freeze his design and do the layout based on AM3352.

Question is if  using an 8 bit DDR3 design will cause any limitations versus a 16 bit DDR3 design. 

Is there any of our designs with 8 bit DDR3 interfaced? As you know 8 bit DDR3s are more economical options than 16 bit for same capacity. Hence the question.

Would greatly appreciate a prompt response…
