CC1310: CC1310 Antenna Diversity Carrier Sense

Customer has questions on CC1310 antenna diversity patch working with Carrier Sense.  Several things are making me think that the Antenna diversity patch may not be compatible with the Carrier sense operation.

1. It looks like the antenna diversity patch doesn’t complete the action until sync word is found.  But in our frequency hopping loop looking for a message, we need to detect carrier on preamble alone, and then lock the frequency there.  The sync word will be coming much later so we have to already know the correct frequency and antenna before it comes.
2. There are configuration registers in the white paper that set preamble bit timings, RSSI reference level, etc.  All of these seems to be very similar to configurations in the Carrier Sense command.  It seems that the 2 would be in direct conflict with each other. 

Can you verify how/if we can do carrier sense with antenna diversity enabled?
