Part Number:BQ25101
Hi Guys
I have a issue with TI Part BQ25101.
Attached is my schematic for the circuit. (referred TI BQ25100EVM reference Design which is also attached)
Basically, while the IC is charging the battery, the red LED (LED1) should be ON. Once the charging is done, the green LED (LED2) should be ON.
However, when the battery is already fully charged, the red LED is still ON (never OFF). I left it charging overnight ( more then 10 hours) and the next day, I measured the battery voltage which is 4.2 V.
PS:
1. the battery is 40mAh, Li-Lon battery with protection circuit.
2. the charging current sets to 10mAh.
3. the input of the IC (VDD1) is 5V from USB.
Please let me know what kind of mistake causing this issue. I am looking forward to hearing back from TI.
