Reg : OMAP L-138 and FPGA interface

Hi,

In our  RRH (Remote radio heads) for 2x2  LTE TDD design  , we are using GC5337 & OMAP L138 for  DUC,DDC,CFR & DPD functions .

We use an SFP module which interfaces to FPGA , FPGA receives baseband data along with certain other messages(channel activation/deactivation )  after CPRI deframing .

We need to have some interface from FPGA to OMAP  to pass on these messages to OMAP ,since OMAP is the master which configures GC5337 & RF .

Can we use GPIO /SPI peripherals of OMAP to interface with FPGA to receive these messages  or kindly suggest the alternative

currently on GC5337 eval board ,OMAP  interfaces to FPGA and GC via EMIF interface. FPGA receives DPD coefficients from OMAP on this interface.
