One of our customers is facing an issue using the LMX2571 device. The problem is as follows:
1. While modulating carrier – no matter with which modulation frequency (in our case it's 1kHz and sampling frequency 60kHz) - we can observe parasitic modulated harmonics, distanced from carrier at every 60kHz. Non-modulated carrier doesn’t have such harmonics.
2. There was an idea to cut those not needed harmonics with PLL curve, however, some calculation questions raised. For example, while changing the band in a program of 100 kHZ to 200 kHz, there are no changes of values of external curve elements. It’s probably because we didn’t take into account something and provide calculation in a wrong way?
3. We noticed, that the values of curve parameters also depend on the pump current. Due to this, in the program is there any needed for the calculation of the total current, selected for receiving and transmitting, or should we choose just one specific current value?
