LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: a basic timer example with out ti rtos

Hi

i need a very simple code to benchmark my code. I thought to use the timer but it seems there are no easy code that i can take an add to my code to benchmark my code. I am using a project in CCS and not using RTOS and dont want to use RTOS. Any help would be great.

Everything i saw on the Forums they suggest to sue RTOS and the timer setup that is to much for what i want to do.
