ADS1281: 1uF ceramic capacitor applied directly to the reference inputs pins.

my question is very simple and direct.
on page 19 of ADS1281 datasheet (SBAS378D – AUGUST 2007 – REVISED JUNE 2010), the last sentence of "VOLTAGE REFERENCE INPUTS (VREFP, VREFN)" paragraph states:
"For most applications, a 1uF ceramic capacitor applied directly to the reference inputs pins is suggested."
I interpret it as: a single capacitor between the two pins, is it correct? And Not one capacitor from a pin and ground and the second capacitor from the other pin and ground.
