Uart connector on MSP430F5137-900

Dear Sir,

2 questions:

1. How can I change my MSP430F5137-900 to work with UART? Is there a manual for this? (couldn't find it) I read some where In need a level shifter and to connect some GPIO's, but what exactly is needed?

I have an MSP430 LaunchPad, can it be used some how?

2. On the other hand, I am using MSP-FET430UIF and I read it supports Virtual com, can this (UART like mode )be used while I'm using debugging with the CCS?
