TMS320F28374D: Which part is better TMS320F28374D or TMS320F28374S?

Dear experts,

for an ultrasonic generator I plan to use a C2000 microcontroller

I need two ultrasonic output channels for a full transistor bridge, each channel needs therefore 4 HRPWM outputs.

Both channels shall be running by their own frequency, but as an option they shall be syncronized to each other (same frequency and phase).

I looked at the TMS320F28374D and TMS320F28374S. Apparently both seems to work that way.

When I chose the TMS320F28374D can one core access i.e. PWM1-4 and the other core PWM5-8? And does the syncronisation work with the two cores?
