Hello,
I am development & applications engineer for Mirmex Motor; we develop high end windings and micro-motors. I am responsible for investigating drive solutions to integrate in our future products and TI Instaspin came to mind.
I have bought the following products:
- TI DRV8305-Q1 Evaluation Module (FoC)
- TI DRV8301-69M-KIT (MOTION)
Unfortunately I am having difficulties with both products, here is a sample of issues I've had:
- Identification process suddenly stops between Ratex Flux and Ld/Lq (motor stops spinning) --> happens more often on low inductance motors
- Inertia identification returns negative friction
- Motion field weakening not working
- FoC modulation errors
As you can see, these are too many issues to resolve by forums... My question is the following: is there anyway of having TI support taking into consideration that we are interested of implementing your technology for our drive products?
