Part Number: IWR6843
Hi all,
I am using IWR6843+DCA1000+mmWaveStudio.
When I configure in the data path "Packet 0" with "ADC_ONLY" I got a 512 KB frame that is correct since I am using the following configuration:
- 2TX;
- 4 RX;
- 128 chirp/frame;
- 128 sample/chirp;
- I and Q receiver;
- 2 byte/sample.
In this scenario I can easily parse with a Python script the *.bin file created by mmWave Studio.
Nevertheless, when I set "Packet 0" with "CP_ADC_CQ" (all the other parameters are the same) I got a 684 KB frame.
From swra555.pdf it is clear that the data are placed inside the frame in the following manner.
Since I already know that the ADC data are 512 KB, I guess that CP+CQ data are 172 KB. However I was not able to found how to compute the size of "Chirp Param" and "CQ Monitoring Data".
Can you help me to understand how to retrive these size and how to parse it properly?
