I would like to use external 5V for powering, but un-sure if I do so , can I still connect USB to the on-board debug probe .. ?
I don't see how to power the board with external 5V, without powering the emulator section also from same supply.
Per the User Guide of the board, Table 5, using alternative 3.3V example is clear, but for 5V external not as detailed (I think ..)
My board is Rev.A. I connect 5V to J23, then set J20 to supply emulator section : it gets powered. Then I set the J19 and J17, the board / other section is powered, app is running.
That is good
But now will I burn the whole thing if I connect USB to the debug probe, as it's already powered .. ?
