We are trying to use TDC7201-ZAX-EVM to measure the time delay for two pulse signal. It is controlled by your LaunchPad MSP-EXP430F5529LP. These two pulse signals are set similarly as in TDC7201-ZAX-EVM's user guide. The stop signal has a few ns delay compared with the start signal. I downloaded CCS software. Maybe it automatically installed the usb driver for this Launchpad. I followed the instruction in TDC's user guide. I updated the firmware then my computer can detect a new port. But it is named as USB Serial Device, not TDC as is shown in the user guide. Anyway, we can connect the device by this port using GUI. We can also get a trigger signal from DTG_TRIG pin right after clicking "start graph". The problem is, after clicking "start graph", no matter how many pulses we sent to the start and stop SMA interface, we cannot get any result or data point on the graph. Is there anything wrong with the connection or manipulation?
