Hello TI,
We use SCI boot on our DSPs to load our low level routines and test our cards.
We have a question concerning the protection of SCI boot in case the TX pin is driven low by an erroneous outside application, or a short cut.
Is the DSP going to hang on the SCI boot or jump to FLASH after some timeout?
In the sprui33a TMD, p617 "Overview of SCIBOOT function", we see a "JUMP to flash" in case no valid key is received.
We expect the "autobaud lock" also have a timeout and prevent the DSP from hanging on the LOWTX pin.
Can you confirm our expectation?
Thank you,
Regards,
PA N.
