BQ40Z50-R2: undervoltage details for CUV and CUVC

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2

I was reading through the TRM looking to understand exactly how the undervoltage threshold protection works on the gauge. I only see 2 registers which are the actual setting and the delay. I assume the delay is how long the cell DC voltage has to be under the max set voltage in CUVC register 0x4845. I don't quite understand the difference between 0x4845 and 0x484A registers. One is designated CUV and one is CUVC.

1. Can you confirm that the trip delay setting in 0x4847 is the time period that the DC cell voltage must stay below the max set voltage for the CUV to trip and open the discharge FET? It appears the setting is in units of seconds which seems long. Typically I am used to seeing undervotlage discharge in battery PCM's using a detector/comparator that trips within ms (milliseconds). Is there a way to set it up to trigger <1s?

2. Does TI actually recommend to use 2s (default) for this setting for LiPolymer battery? That seems extremely long.

3. What is the difference between CUV and CUVC?

I want to ensure that battery transients that momentarily dip below this CUV/CUVC setting do not trip it. But I also want to ensure the timer trips fast.
